Officiating

 Become an Official

The CAA offers activities in many areas of Saint Paul and surrounding suburbs. Referees and umpires are in high demand and fairly compensated. Experience is helpful but not required. If you are interested in officiating, please complete the following steps.

1. Complete the CAA Official's Application

2. Join Refr Sports

• Go to Refr Sports https://www.refrsports.com/
• Sign Up & Create Your Account
• Complete your Profile
• Add payment information - compensation is issued weekly
• Request to be paired with "Catholic Athletic Association"

3. Complete the Official's Release and Liability Waiver

4. Complete a Background Check

• Required for all officials over the age of 18
• A background check is required every 3 years
• After submitting your online application, you will be emailed a link to complete the background check authorization.
